With the Cunningham Highway being out of use due to the Queensland floods the Warrigal Highway had to be utilized. This alternative route had a height restriction of 5.4m and to keep within this allowance one end of the Evaporator was bookend ensuring the erection program schedule was maintained. Each Evaporator measured 31m x 5.5m x 5.0m and weighted 100 tonnes. |
